Lawrence A. Kestin is the founding partner and managing principal of Glenmont Capital Management, LLC. Mr. Kestin draws on
close to 30
years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to the formation of Glenmont, Mr. Kestin was a principal of Colony Capital, Inc. In that capacity, Mr. Kestin identified, evaluated and consummated new investments, and developed, implemented and managed strategic plans, including an operating and disposition strategy for each consummated investment. Mr. Kestin served on Colony's investment committee, which approved all of Colony's investments. Prior to becoming a principal of Colony Capital, Mr. Kestin served as the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of one of Colony's affiliates, Colony Advisors, Inc., a full-service asset management company, where he oversaw the management and disposition of a $1 billion portfolio of real estate assets. |

Prior to joining Colony, Mr. Kestin was a Partner and Vice Chairman of the Real Estate Department of Rogers & Wells (now Clifford Chance, LLP). In that capacity, Mr. Kestin negotiated and consummated a variety of complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, financings, restructurings and foreclosures, and was otherwise responsible for all aspects of a diverse transactional real estate practice. |

| Mr. Kestin received a B.A. from American University and a J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School, where he was a member of the Law Review. Mr. Kestin has been a guest speaker at industry conferences including IMN's Investor & Advisor Symposium and The Crittenden's Commercial Mortgage Broker Conference. |

Joseph C. Smith is the founding principal of Glenmont and has been integrally involved with all aspects of Glenmont since the inception of the first investment fund. Mr. Smith was formerly at the Real Estate Private Equity Group at Bankers Trust (later known as Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown), where he was involved in over $200 million in real estate debt and private equity investments in hotel, office and retail properties around the country. Among his responsibilities were underwriting, structuring and executing mezzanine and equity investments in real estate, as well as the day-to-day operations for the BT Real Estate Mezzanine Investment Fund, LLC. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr. Smith was an investment banker at Montgomery Securities, now known as Banc of America Securities, where he worked on over 30 real estate investment banking transactions representing over $3 billion. His experience includes transactions in mergers and acquisitions, public equity offerings and high yield bond offerings of real estate companies. |

Mr. Smith received his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, with honors, and earned a B.S. degree in finance, with honors, from Santa Clara University. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma at both universities. Mr. Smith has been a guest speaker at Columbia University and Harvard University and is a founding member of Columbia's Real Estate Circle, a real estate industry group of top executives. |
